Here Tomorrow Learning Academy
Here Tomorrow is a Florida-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing immediate peer support to individuals facing hopelessness or suicidal ideation. The organization is a cornerstone of the local community, offering no-cost services designed to address mental health crises through the support of Recovery Peer Specialists (RPS). Their model is deeply rooted in the belief that peer-led support can be transformative in moments of crisis, providing hope and a pathway to recovery.
Background
Here Tomorrow sought to address a significant gap in their services due to the limited number of Certified Recovery Peer Specialists (CRPS) on their team. With only seven certified individuals and fourteen more needing certification, the organization was constrained in its ability to meet the rising demand for peer support in the community. They also lacked a structured, compliant, and scalable training program to certify their peer specialists efficiently, which restricted their capacity to expand and develop new revenue streams.

Recognizing the importance of aligning the training program with both the values of Here Tomorrow and the strict requirements of the Florida Certification Board, Polaris meticulously mapped out a comprehensive course outline. This data-driven approach empowered Here Tomorrow to better report on program effectiveness to grant funders, donors, and other stakeholders, significantly enhancing their ability to secure funding and support for their growing initiatives. Results
As a direct result of the program, Here Tomorrow increased their number of Certified Recovery Peer Specialists from 7 to 21, marking a 200% increase in certified staff. This expansion enabled the organization to launch its first fee-for-service program, creating a new revenue stream that can be reinvested into their community initiatives. The successful implementation of the CRPS Training Program not only enhanced the quality and reach of their services but also established a sustainable model for future growth.
